The Ipevo VZ-R is an 8MP HDMI and USB document camera that connects directly to a TV, monitor or projector with no computer required, or to a Mac, Windows PC or Chromebook by USB.
Overview
Show documents, textbooks, artwork and 3D objects live on a big screen with the Ipevo VZ-R visualiser. In HDMI mode it plugs straight into a TV, monitor or projector, so there is no need for a computer. In USB mode it streams live images to a Mac, Windows PC or Chromebook, ready for remote teaching, video calls and recording.
The 8 megapixel camera captures ultra-high definition images up to 3264 x 2448, with up to 1920 x 1080 output in HDMI mode and up to 30 fps live video at full HD. The full autofocus lens focuses from 10 cm to infinity, keeping everything from printed pages to small objects sharp. The maximum shooting area is 270 x 480 mm (16:9) or 344 x 460 mm (4:3).
The free IPEVO Visualizer software adds zoom, rotate, mirror, snapshot, video recording and time-lapse or stop motion video. In HDMI mode the VZ-R needs a power source, which can be a 5V/1A phone or tablet adapter, a powered USB port on your TV, projector or computer, or a power bank. A power adapter is not included.
