How Do I Track My Parcel?
Once your order has been dispatched, you may want to know when your scan product will arrive. The Scanner Shop uses a range of third-party courier services, each with its own delivery and tracking procedures. However, most couriers provide an online tracking service so you can follow the progress of your parcel.
What happens after I place my order?
Once your order has been dispatched, The Scanner Shop will send you a confirmation notification. This will usually include your tracking number and, where available, a link to the courier's tracking service.
Please be aware that tracking information may not appear immediately after dispatch. The courier may need to collect and scan your parcel before tracking information becomes available. If there is no tracking information initially, this does not necessarily mean there is a problem.
How do I track my parcel?
Most of our courier partners provide an online tracking service. To track your parcel:
- Find the tracking number in your dispatch confirmation.
- Visit the courier's website (see list below).
- Locate their parcel tracking service.
- Enter your tracking number when prompted.
The tracking information available will vary depending on the courier and delivery service selected. Some couriers may also provide updates by email or text message.
What happens on the day of delivery?
Depending on the courier, you may receive a notification on the day of delivery. This may include an estimated delivery time or delivery window, together with a link to track your parcel.
The courier will then attempt to deliver your parcel to the address provided with your order.
If delivery is unsuccessful, the courier may make another delivery attempt or provide options to rearrange the delivery, divert the parcel or collect it from a designated collection point. The options available will depend on the courier and service used.
Collection points and lockers
Some courier services offer delivery to collection points, parcel shops or automated lockers. If you have selected one of these options, the courier will normally notify you when your parcel is ready for collection.
You may need to provide a collection code, PIN, confirmation message or suitable identification. Collection procedures and collection periods vary between couriers, so please follow the instructions provided by the courier.
What if my parcel is delayed?
Estimated delivery times vary depending on the courier and service selected. Occasionally, deliveries may be delayed due to circumstances outside the control of The Scanner Shop or the courier.
If your tracking information has not updated for several days, or your parcel appears to be significantly delayed, please contact The Scanner Shop. We can check the status of your order and, where appropriate, contact the courier for further information.
What happens when my parcel is delivered?
Most couriers provide confirmation when a parcel has been delivered. Depending on the service, this may include the delivery date and time, delivery location, photograph, recipient details or other proof of delivery.
If your tracking information shows that your parcel has been delivered but you cannot locate it, please check the delivery information provided by the courier. If you are still unable to find your parcel, contact The Scanner Shop and we will assist with investigating the delivery.
Please note: Delivery and tracking procedures vary between courier companies. Always refer to the tracking information and instructions provided by the courier handling your order.
